Fabricio Erdiano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, BocA FC's Humberto Abar got a free kick in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, BocA FC's Efrain Urbasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabricio Erdiano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lino Chayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabricio Erdiano having to interfere. Humberto Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabricio Erdiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Urbasa in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Maizales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Chayo came free, but Fabricio Erdiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Erdiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Abar, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Lino Chayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Erdiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lino Chayo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Chayo in the 52nd minute of play forced Maizales FC's goalkeeper Fabricio Erdiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BocA FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
