Spectators: 7152 (Terracing: 5365, Seating: 1645, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Guaberto Cedro kicked off to start the match. Pastor Artaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Maximo Eriz made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Encrucijada FC's goalkeeper Maximo Eriz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pastor Artaldo. Zbyszko Pawlak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Naike in the 15th minute of play. Hernan Erroman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Maximo Eriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Tabor charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Tabor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Leopoldo Tabor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guaberto Cedro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Maximo Eriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Tabor struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Zbyszko Pawlak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Encrucijada FC. If Pastor Artaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivan Benitez to strike the kick off in the second half. Horacio Gines hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Flavio Naike sped through Lyons F.C ™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zbyszko Pawlak. If Hernan Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Cedro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zbyszko Pawlak didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 74th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Lyons F.C ™'s Pastor Artaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Encrucijada FC's Maximo Eriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Artaldo in the 85th minute of play. Pastor Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Maximo Eriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guaberto Cedro in the 90th minute of play forced Encrucijada FC's goalkeeper Maximo Eriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Encrucijada FC's zone, Pastor Artaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Eriz came out of the goal and Pastor Artaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Encrucijada FC's Ivan Benitez got a free kick in the 96th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Encrucijada FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
