Spectators: 6790 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1648, VIP seats: 142) Marini AFC's Ceferino Dunixi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Marini AFC's zone, Cecilio Orlandus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Ihazintu came out of the goal and Cecilio Orlandus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th match minute, Marini AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Hechter to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Marini AFC's zone, Casimiro Fix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Ihazintu came out of the goal and Casimiro Fix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Marini AFC's Martin Sugoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guido Loren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 14 played minutes Potrero FC got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Rey. 19 minutes into the match, Casimiro Fix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Ihazintu. Marini AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Casimiro Fix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Erubiel Luken hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Martin Sugoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cecilio Orlandus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Ceferino Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Cecilio Orlandus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Ihazintu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 39 played minutes Potrero FC got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Vergaray. Benicio Mogel kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Cecilio Orlandus scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Ihazintu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Hernan Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Fix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Roman Ihazintu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Orlandus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Ihazintu made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Cecilio Orlandus sent off a good shot on target. Marini AFC's Roman Ihazintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Fix in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Marini AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Hechter to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes Potrero FC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Luken. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Potrero FC's goalkeeper Guido Loren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ceferino Dunixi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Benicio Mogel came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Potrero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benicio Mogel couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Cipriano Hechter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Potrero FC's Casimiro Fix got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marini AFC's Roman Ihazintu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Fix in the 85th minute of play. Cecilio Orlandus in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roman Ihazintu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Casimiro Fix came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Potrero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Fix couldn't finish the play.
