In the 6th minute Daniel Matxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lázaro Dunixi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Havant & Waterlooville's Patricio Sendoa got a free kick in the 12th minute. India MVD's Florinio Camilo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lázaro Dunixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Matxin, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Omar Pero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lázaro Dunixi, 1-0. Havant & Waterlooville's Lázaro Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Pero in the 19th minute of play. After 22 played minutes, Havant & Waterlooville's Benjamin Manny shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lino Micael came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Havant & Waterlooville reached it. Vedillo Valpuesta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Lázaro Dunixi made a huge save. Alonzo Jurdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lázaro Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Pero in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florinio Camilo was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Freddy Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Havant & Waterlooville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddy Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, Omar Pero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lázaro Dunixi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Havant & Waterlooville's zone, Florinio Camilo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lázaro Dunixi came out of the goal and Florinio Camilo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. India MVD's Ciro Teofilio was substituted for Jimeno Fagildo. Lino Micael was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dario Baudelio. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Rodrigo Montae managed to get in a good position for a shot. Havant & Waterlooville's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Montae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Micael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, India MVD's Lino Micael got control of the ball when Freddy Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lázaro Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Pero in the 75th minute of play. Lázaro Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Teofilio in the 79th minute of play. Alonzo Jurdan scored 2-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lino Micael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximino Bide succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 90th playminute. 95 minutes into the game, India MVD's Ciro Teofilio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lázaro Dunixi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. India MVD fully deserved thier win.
