Spectators: 6560 (Terracing: 5360, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Omar Evarado kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Evarado in the 5th minute of play forced La Oreja de Holyfield's goalkeeper Filiberto Leizarraga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lorenzo Mitxel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento FC's zone, Saul Rivero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cleto Curcio came out of the goal and Saul Rivero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th minute, Lorenzo Mitxel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 22 played minutes La Oreja de Holyfield got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Selatse. La Oreja de Holyfield's Filiberto Leizarraga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Evarado in the 23rd minute of play. Filiberto Leizarraga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Ospetsu in the 26th minute of play. Saul Rivero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Cleto Curcio made a huge save. 34 minutes into the game, Sarmiento FC's Benicio Oihenarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filiberto Leizarraga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Abel Ospetsu took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filiberto Leizarraga. Filiberto Leizarraga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Apolo Quirce might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filiberto Leizarraga. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apolo Quirce ran back to his position shaking his head. Cleto Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Etor, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Diegotxe in the 64th minute of play forced Sarmiento FC's goalkeeper Cleto Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Lorenzo Mitxel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, La Oreja de Holyfield's Filiberto Leizarraga got control of the ball when Lorenzo Mitxel tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Omar Evarado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Saul Rivero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Oreja de Holyfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 82 minutes of play, Sarmiento FC's Lorenzo Mitxel made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filiberto Leizarraga was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Evarado in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Leizarraga saved La Oreja de Holyfield from getting behind. Cleto Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Rivero, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, La Oreja de Holyfield's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Evarado came free, but Filiberto Leizarraga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sarmiento FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
