Scouts's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Raymond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Narciso Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Jerico in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Scouts's zone, Julio Raymond stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Pello came out of the goal and Julio Raymond tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Laurin scored 3-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jairo Pello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Julio Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Lazcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jairo Pello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the los xeneises fc defense, Eustaquio Jerico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narciso Guillem. The los xeneises fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso Guillem should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

In the 57th minute Julio Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to los xeneises fc getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Ciriaco Chorache hit a great ball. If Julio Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Raymond in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Pello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the match, los xeneises fc's Julio Raymond sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Pello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Raymond in the 73rd minute of play forced Scouts's goalkeeper Jairo Pello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Julio Raymond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jairo Pello was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in los xeneises fc's zone, Isidro Gonza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Guillem came out of the goal and Isidro Gonza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Scouts booed when los xeneises fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Laurin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Hartz got free with Narciso Guillem in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute Julio Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Pello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. los xeneises fc's Narciso Guillem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Urtungo in the 95th minute of play. Narciso Guillem made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Isidoro Gomez sent off a good shot on target. Narciso Guillem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateo Ibar in the 98th minute of play. los xeneises fc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
