A wasted opportunity for Vertientes FC. 7 minutes into the match, Vertientes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cris Papp came free, but Esteban Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Riquelme shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Norberto Cai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vertientes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norberto Cai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Edwardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Tallia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Toscano, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cris Papp in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Gonzalez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Túlio Toscano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Gonzalez was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Vertientes FC's Esteban Gonzalez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cris Papp in the 28th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Vertientes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Lleir came free, but Esteban Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Lleir, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Esteban Gonzalez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Toscano in the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute Victorio Lleir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Norberto Cai made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Vertientes FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Norberto Cai hit a great ball. Esteban Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Lleir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Sebastian Tallia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tu Hermana FC's Victorio Lleir got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 minutes, Carmelo Clementi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vertientes FC and the Tu Hermana FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vertientes FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Carmelo Clementi hit a great ball. After 67 played minutes Vertientes FC got a freekick which was hit by Carmelo Clementi. Juan Riquelme hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Norberto Cai took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Edwardo. Benito Edwardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 76 minutes of play, Tu Hermana FC's Túlio Toscano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteban Gonzalez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 80 minutes, Cris Papp made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vertientes FC's Esteban Gonzalez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Esteban Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Ponciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Adan Pero dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Esteban Gonzalez, 1-3. Esteban Gonzalez was a little too slow when Cris Papp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 94th minute Túlio Toscano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tu Hermana FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
