Efrain Cordaryal hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Placido Tab was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Paileman's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 15 played minutes Paileman got a freekick which was hit by Guido Solustiano. Hermengildo Oskitz scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Uriel Rosario, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Tab in the 20th minute of play forced Los Colgados's goalkeeper Pedro Berart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Placido Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Berart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Soin struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Uriel Rosario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Colgados. Pedro Berart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Tab in the 35th minute of play. After 38 minutes, Hermengildo Oskitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Colgados and the Paileman players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Hermengildo Oskitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Paileman booed when Los Colgados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Paez didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Tab in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Berart saved Los Colgados from getting behind. Placido Tab recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Hermengildo Oskitz made the kick off in the second half. Domingo Paez hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. A collision led to Los Colgados getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Domingo Paez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Tab in the 60th minute of play forced Los Colgados's goalkeeper Pedro Berart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Tab received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Pedro Berart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Placido Tab managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paileman's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Tab was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The throw-in from Hilario Raulo in the 87th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Paileman's Narciso Goren. Pedro Berart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Goren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Goren hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paileman's goalkeeper Uriel Rosario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Although Paileman had been in control for most of the match, Los Colgados still came away with the win.
