Basilio Jakes started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Basilio Jakes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Isaac Vedillo to make any attempt to save it. Arbolito's Arsenio Teodor got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Acosta getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Romeo Ezkerra hit a great ball. A collision led to Arbolito getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Basilio Jakes hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Basilio Jakes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leo Urtsin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Quinito's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Celedonio Nerio sped through Arbolito's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leo Urtsin. Arbolito's Leo Urtsin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Nerio in the 32nd minute of play. Arsenio Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Quinito might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leo Urtsin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Quinito ran back to his position shaking his head. Leo Urtsin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Quinito, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Leo Urtsin came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Acosta's Eduardo Quinito. But to his dismay, Eduardo Quinito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 45th match minute, Acosta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Garin to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Eloy Nuno hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Marcos Garci hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Urtsin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Quinito in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Arbolito's goalkeeper Leo Urtsin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Nerio. After 70 played minutes Arbolito got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Garci. Celedonio Nerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Leo Urtsin made a huge save. 78 minutes into the match, Arsenio Teodor notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Acosta's Isaac Vedillo. Isaac Vedillo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Raimundo Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Acosta defense, Arsenio Teodor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaac Vedillo. The Acosta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaac Vedillo should have stopped the shot. Eduardo Quinito charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Quinito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 89 played minutes Acosta got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Quinito. In the 94th match minute, Acosta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Larpe to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute Arsenio Teodor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Arbolito players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
