If Angelo Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Villaguay's attentive Timoteo Patxi managed to snatch the ball when Cecilio Sotil made a throw-in in the 12th minute of the game. 17 minutes into the game, Christian Rufo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villaguay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Caranchos U18 the free kick. The supporters of C.A. Caranchos U18 booed when Villaguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Rufo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Veremundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Rozarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A. Caranchos U18's Alberto Veremundo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Caranchos U18 from getting a goal against them. Cecilio Sotil charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Sotil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Cecilio Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Rufo got free with Alberto Veremundo in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute, Angelo Rozarius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Domeka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Clemencin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Clemencin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Domeka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. When Gustavo Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the C.A. Caranchos U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Alvarez couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Rufo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Villaguay getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Rogelio Veto hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Villaguay's Christian Rufo got a free kick in the 59th minute. Alberto Veremundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Rufo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Pedro Horado hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The supporters of Villaguay booed when C.A. Caranchos U18 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Artaldo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Veremundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Rufo in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute, C.A. Caranchos U18's Clemente Clemencin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Domeka. Gabriel Domeka yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A. Caranchos U18's Clemente Clemencin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gabriel Domeka. That made the score 0-2 after 77 minutes of play. The throw-in from Cecilio Sotil in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Villaguay's Christian Rufo. After 90 minutes of play, Villaguay's Christian Rufo made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Veremundo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Angelo Rozarius struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Alberto Veremundo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villaguay. When the final whistle went the supporters of C.A. Caranchos U18 were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Villaguay side.
