Spectators: 7107 (Terracing: 5332, Seating: 1634, VIP seats: 141) Guaberto Torres started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The crowd rose to their feet as Guaberto Torres kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Casimiro Oinaz. That made the score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. Guaberto Torres received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Casimiro Oinaz came out and tried to block the shot, but Guaberto Torres slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute, Gustavo Mazuste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Pearson AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hanno Behnke. In the 16thth minute of the game Cristo Demesio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pearson AFC's Iuri Cardoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Pearson AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Elias Garin hit a great ball. The supporters of Pearson AFC booed when Douglas Haig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Mazuste didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Monte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Oinaz came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Pearson AFC's Agustin Monte. But to his dismay, Agustin Monte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Guaberto Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

In the 51st match minute, Douglas Haig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Mazuste to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Douglas Haig's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Torres came free, but Casimiro Oinaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Agustin Monte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casimiro Oinaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Torres in the 64th minute of the match. Casimiro Oinaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Monte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Mazuste hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Agustin Monte in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 76th minute, Douglas Haig's Cristo Demesio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iuri Cardoso. Iuri Cardoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pearson AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julio Tallia was slow to take the kick. During this time Douglas Haig's players had a chance to rest. In the 88th minute of the match Julio Tallia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iuri Cardoso skillfully saved the ball. Agustin Monte scored 4-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casimiro Oinaz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pearson AFC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
