Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Deunoro in the 44th minute of play forced Sir Lancelot FC's goalkeeper Eugenio Quilo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Medina was the one to do the kick off. Sir Lancelot FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
