Godofredo Jobo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, Charlie Harper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Godofredo Jobo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Cesar Firmin. Eriberto Ipar scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesar Firmin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stoke City's goalkeeper Cesar Firmin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Godofredo Jobo sped through Stoke City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cesar Firmin. If Godofredo Jobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, Stoke City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Bonifaco to maneuver through the defense. In the 30thth minute of the game Godofredo Jobo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stoke City's Cesar Firmin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 33 played minutes Stoke City got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Acuña. 37 minutes into the match, Stoke City's goal looked a bit too open when Godofredo Jobo came free, but Cesar Firmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Godofredo Jobo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Godofredo Jobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cesar Firmin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Orixe in the 46th minute of the match. Stoke City's Cesar Firmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Jobo in the 47th minute of play. After the first half xomyxomyxomy FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pastor Rayman to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Stoke City's zone, Eriberto Ipar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Firmin came out of the goal and Eriberto Ipar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Stoke City's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Orixe came free, but Cesar Firmin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Firmin made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Pastor Rayman sent off a good shot on target. If Eriberto Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Firmin was a little too slow when Pastor Rayman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-5. If Angel Orixe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Cesar Firmin managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when xomyxomyxomy FC's Pastor Rayman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pastor Rayman struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Cesar Firmin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for xomyxomyxomy FC. 88 minutes into the match, Angel Orixe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cesar Firmin, 0-7. After 92 minutes, Pastor Rayman made it 0-8 with a short kick to the right side. Stoke City's Cesar Firmin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Stoke City's Cesar Firmin got control of the ball when Pastor Rayman tried to sneak it across the goal line. xomyxomyxomy FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
