The supporters of Mancherter FC booed when Atletico Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Jerano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Refugio in the 30th minute of play. Horacio Pio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Gauargi in the 34th minute of the match. Leonardo Refugio struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Leo Jerano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mancherter FC. After some careless play in the Atletico Madrid defense, Leonardo Refugio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Jerano. The Atletico Madrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Jerano should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Silvestre Quentin made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Mancherter FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Atilano Pacifico hit a great ball. Silvestre Quentin kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Silvestre Quentin took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Pio. Horacio Pio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Leonardo Refugio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leo Jerano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Chants of Atletico Madrid echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Mancherter FC had held the ball for most of the match.
