The crowd rose to their feet as Anchoris AFC's Javier Nardo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Horacio Pio. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. In the 11th match minute, Mancherter FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Nazario to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute of the match Florentino Gau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Horacio Pio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Anchoris AFC defense, Leonardo Refugio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elpidio Palos. The Anchoris AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elpidio Palos should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the game, Mancherter FC's Atilano Pacifico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Palos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Angelo Minati had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Minati in the 30th minute of the match. Elpidio Palos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonardo Refugio went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After 35 minutes, Javier Nardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anchoris AFC and the Mancherter FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mancherter FC booed when Anchoris AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Nardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Minati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Palos having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Mancherter FC's goalkeeper Horacio Pio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Natalio Constancio. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Anchoris AFC! Elpidio Palos went to the wrong direction when Gavino Azeari was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonardo Refugio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Refugio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elpidio Palos was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Mancherter FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Refugio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Anchoris AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gavino Azeari fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Leonardo Refugio took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elpidio Palos. Elpidio Palos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Mancherter FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
