The Los Pibes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Macerio should have stopped the shot. Los Pibes FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Gaudencio Cefero scored to the left of an out of position Dario Macerio, making the score, 3-0. John Toschi charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Toschi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. John Toschi hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Cefero in the 21st minute of play forced Los Pibes FC's goalkeeper Dario Macerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Los Pibes FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Pedro Naike hit a great ball. Los Pibes FC's Dario Macerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Los Pibes FC from getting a goal against them. Alberto Escalona took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Macerio. Dario Macerio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 35 minutes into the match, Los Pibes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Escalona came free, but Dario Macerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. DEPORTIVO VILLA GALICIA's attack was well implemented in the 36th minute, but when Alberto Escalona was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Gaudencio Cefero took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Dario Macerio to make any attempt to save it. In the 44th minute Gaudencio Cefero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Macerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Su recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, DEPORTIVO VILLA GALICIA's Mauricio Asier got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaudencio Cefero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pascual Lluc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Toschi in the 52nd minute of play. DEPORTIVO VILLA GALICIA's Mauricio Asier got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 minutes, Martin Salvatore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Pibes FC and the DEPORTIVO VILLA GALICIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Los Pibes FC got a freekick which was hit by Martin Salvatore. Elias Su took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Macerio. Dario Macerio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Dario Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Escalona in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Gaudencio Cefero notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Los Pibes FC's Dario Macerio. Dario Macerio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute Alberto Escalona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Macerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Macerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Asier, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Los Pibes FC's Dario Macerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Asier in the 84th minute of play. Dario Macerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Su, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, DEPORTIVO VILLA GALICIA's Eulalio Jax got a free kick in the 86th minute. DEPORTIVO VILLA GALICIA's Orlando Peli was substituted for Elias Su. Eulalio Jax hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Martin Salvatore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Escalona in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dario Macerio saved Los Pibes FC from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. DEPORTIVO VILLA GALICIA had played much better football throughout.
