When Simon Maties came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Pilcaniyeu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Maties couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Ler in the 19th minute of play forced Los Reyes de Km 38's goalkeeper Bartolo Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Leandro Galoer made a precise shot to the right of Bartolo Duardo. The wind increased when Eliseo Mantzio made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Los Reyes de Km 38's Santos Urtats made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The referee gave Pilcaniyeu FC a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edgard Pudes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Los Reyes de Km 38's Bartolo Duardo. 3-2. Leandro Galoer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maximo Guillelme in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Los Reyes de Km 38's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Pilcaniyeu FC had won, even though Los Reyes de Km 38 had held more of the ball.
