Bartolo Cefero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo Abaurre's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Abelardo Abaurre put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bartolo Cefero. Abelardo Abaurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teofilo Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Bartolo Cefero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durazno's Bartolo Cefero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Durazno from getting a goal against them. When Punua's Abelardo Abaurre in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Durazno's goalie prevented a goal. Aquiles Senin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. Punua's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A hard shot 36 in the game by Abelardo Abaurre from a close distance when the talented Bartolo Cefero managed to make a qualified save. Durazno's players were relieved. If Anselmo Balasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Abad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Anselmo Balasi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaudencio Hanni having to make a save. In the 42nd minute, Emiliano Eufemio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edelmiro Cordairo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Gogo Abad made the kick off in the second half. Celedonio Servando kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Abelardo Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Punua's Gaudencio Hanni got control of the ball when Anselmo Balasi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute Edelmiro Cordairo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Cefero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durazno's Bartolo Cefero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Abaurre in the 67th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abelardo Abaurre in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bartolo Cefero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bartolo Cefero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Senin in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Aquiles Senin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Bartolo Cefero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abelardo Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Cefero having to interfere. Abelardo Abaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bartolo Cefero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Abelardo Abaurre came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Punua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Abaurre couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Punua had played much better football throughout.
