The supporters of Pinto AFC booed when FC Naon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Selatse didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vicente Cefero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Albrecht Mehring made a huge save. Maximino Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albrecht Mehring having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Pinto AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Crispo came free, but Edgardo Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Crispo took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgardo Elixio. Edgardo Elixio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Pinto AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Jacindo came free, but Edgardo Elixio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Naon's Filomeno Salbatore got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Albrecht Mehring made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Vicente Cefero sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute Maximino Aballe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albrecht Mehring saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albrecht Mehring showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Enmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Vicente Cefero's late challenge caught a FC Naon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Cefero helped the player get up and apologised. Vicente Cefero kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Saturnino Jacindo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgardo Elixio. Pinto AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Saturnino Jacindo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Niceto Enmanuel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half FC Naon were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saturnino Jacindo made a kick off. After 51 played minutes FC Naon got a freekick which was hit by Juan Crispo. After some careless play in the FC Naon defense, Vicente Cefero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albrecht Mehring. The FC Naon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albrecht Mehring should have stopped the shot. Albrecht Mehring made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Aballe in the 56th minute of play. When Natalio Martinez fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinto AFC's protests and gave Natalio Martinez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Pinto AFC's Natalio Martinez got a free kick in the 64th minute. 3-4 became the score in the 68th minute when Vicente Cefero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Vicente Cefero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Cefero in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Naon's goalkeeper Albrecht Mehring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Naon's Albrecht Mehring played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Enmanuel in the 76th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Pinto AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Naon:s goal. The referee gave FC Naon a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Fausto Otoniel, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pinto AFC's Edgardo Elixio. 3-5. After 85 played minutes Pinto AFC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Porfirio. Edgardo Elixio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Salbatore in the 88th minute of the match. Filomeno Selatse hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Enmanuel in the 98th minute of play forced FC Naon's goalkeeper Albrecht Mehring to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Naon walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
