Cleto Frasquito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Gregorio Maidana made a huge save. Eustaquio Ostots might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Cutberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eustaquio Ostots ran back to his position shaking his head. After 13 minutes of play, Sueldos's Melquiades Rio made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teobaldo Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Melquiades Rio might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teobaldo Cutberto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melquiades Rio ran back to his position shaking his head. Melquiades Rio took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teobaldo Cutberto. Teobaldo Cutberto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Teobaldo Cutberto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Txanton in the 26th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Pucará's Cleto Frasquito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregorio Maidana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teobaldo Cutberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The supporters of Pucará booed when Sueldos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Mateo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejo Fe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 89 played minutes Sueldos got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Transito. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Frasquito in the 94th minute of play forced Sueldos's goalkeeper Gregorio Maidana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Pucará supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sueldos's performance. The match ended with a win for Sueldos.
