When Amado Olando fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KING THE KING´S's protests and gave Amado Olando a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in KING THE KING´S fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Pericote FC a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Urbano Luar, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KING THE KING´S's Gavino Valentine. 1-0. Justino Ofelio kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Gavino Valentine made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Ospin in the 10th minute. Daniel Ospin struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Gavino Valentine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pericote FC. Daniel Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jorginho Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Bernaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Valentine having to interfere. With his leg Gavino Valentine managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Pericote FC's Rodolfo Bernaldo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Ospin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gavino Valentine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Ospin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Gavino Valentine made a huge save. KING THE KING´S's Gavino Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Bernaldo in the 30th minute of play. After 32 played minutes Pericote FC got a freekick which was hit by Américo Gomes. In the 36th minute, Pericote FC's Rodolfo Bernaldo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gavino Valentine. Gavino Valentine yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Rodolfo Bernaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavino Valentine having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jorginho Rocha made the kick off in the second half. Gavino Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Bernaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Daniel Ospin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Gavino Valentine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pericote FC's zone, Justino Ofelio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Figueroa came out of the goal and Justino Ofelio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Carolo Beat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute Rodolfo Bernaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Ospin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Gavino Valentine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Daniel Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute, Jorginho Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes KING THE KING´S got a freekick which was hit by Amado Olando. If Daniel Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pericote FC fully deserved thier win.
