Severiano Nesor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Salvidor scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severiano Nesor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Eloy Otsando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Nesor was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloy Otsando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Severiano Nesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Salvidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donato Orain's late challenge caught a Defensores de Ameghino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Orain helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute, Donato Orain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the last second Severiano Nesor throw himself and got hold of the ball when Eloy Otsando in the 58thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 60th minute Joel Ibar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Guaberto Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 72 minutes into the match, Miramonte's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Otsando came free, but Severiano Nesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Miramonte getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Donato Orain hit a great ball. Eloy Otsando kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Miramonte's Severiano Nesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Otsando in the 81st minute of play. After 93 played minutes Defensores de Ameghino got a freekick which was hit by Moises Balendin. The Miramonte manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Defensores de Ameghino to win.
