But to his dismay, Jacobo Vargas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Ameghino's Jonathan Salvidor got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 13 played minutes Nacate AFC's Francisco Idacio stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Filiberto Hernando stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Defensores de Ameghino of the goal. Gerardo Osoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Otsando in the 16th minute of play. Filiberto Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Maore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Eloy Otsando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Gerardo Osoitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloy Otsando's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Guaberto Galtero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gerardo Osoitz. Nacate AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guaberto Galtero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 36 minutes into the game, Abel Jurdan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores de Ameghino's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacate AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Ameghino's Abel Jurdan got a free kick in the 36th minute. After having played for 39 minutes, Moises Balendin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Ameghino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Balendin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jacobo Vargas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerardo Osoitz having to make a save. After 44th play minutes Eloy Otsando shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Gerardo Osoitz and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 47th minute, Guido Mel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Nacate AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Defensores de Ameghino were winning 0-4.

Filiberto Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Martinez in the 55th minute of play. Gerardo Osoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Salvidor, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Gerardo Osoitz successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 73rd minute Eloy Otsando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Defensores de Ameghino's Eloy Otsando got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Romulo Cuarto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores de Ameghino's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Cuarto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gerardo Osoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Nacate AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Defensores de Ameghino were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
