An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Firman in the 17th minute of play forced Nahueve's goalkeeper Jeremias Sendoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nahueve getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Freddy Emesto hit a great ball. Ciro Vermudo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Benedicto Quintas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evelio Sansone was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game.
