Epifanio Bazkoare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Gartzi having to interfere. 5 minutes into the game, Espinillo FC's Paulino Ovando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maximino Sugar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Enrique Argi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Sugar having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Florencio Dalmu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Espinillo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florencio Dalmu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximino Sugar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulino Ovando in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Sugar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximino Sugar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Ovando, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Faustino Nardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Gartzi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jonatan Henrico showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 17 minute of play. In the 20th match minute, C.A Good Game was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Enetz to maneuver through the defense. Maximino Sugar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Argi in the 21st minute of play. Paulino Ovando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Espinillo FC's Diego Telesforo got a free kick in the 25th minute. After recieving a nice pass, C.A Good Game's Santos Pio tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paulino Ovando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Maximino Sugar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zeledon Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Bero, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, Florencio Dalmu made a precise shot to the right of Maximino Sugar. C.A Good Game's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Maximino Sugar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Ovando in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A Good Game's goalkeeper Maximino Sugar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 50 played minutes Espinillo FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Ovando. C.A Good Game's Erubiel Bero got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, C.A Good Game's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Ovando came free, but Maximino Sugar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Erubiel Bero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Gartzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, C.A Good Game's Maximino Sugar got control of the ball when Florencio Dalmu tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Paulino Ovando put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Maximino Sugar. Zeledon Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Henrico, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The supporters of C.A Good Game booed when Espinillo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Bero, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Erubiel Bero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeledon Gartzi. Espinillo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erubiel Bero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. In the 92nd match minute, C.A Good Game was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Nardo to maneuver through the defense. Espinillo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
