Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hugo Eztebe started the match with the kick off. The Mailín AFC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Mailín AFC's Hugo Rivero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ernesto Dominix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Pelagius in the 17th minute of the match. Silvio Loren hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ernesto Dominix acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 23rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Francisco Estebe. Hugo Rivero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Ernesto Dominix when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Salvador Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Teofilio's late challenge caught a Mailín AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Delmar Teofilio helped the player get up and apologised. Fermin Salvatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Ekain having to interfere. The supporters of Gauchos del Dot booed when Mailín AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Rius didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Rivero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ernesto Dominix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Gauchos del Dot getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Silvio Loren hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gauchos del Dot's zone, Salvador Pelagius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Dominix came out of the goal and Salvador Pelagius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Silvio Loren charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Loren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvio Loren kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Salvador Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Fermin Salvatore came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Gauchos del Dot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Salvatore couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the game, Eduardo Olivar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gauchos del Dot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mailín AFC the free kick. In the 66th minute, Eduardo Olivar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Gaur kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Godfredo Ekain showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Eztebe in the 74th minute of the match. Salvador Pelagius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernesto Dominix having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Salvador Pelagius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mailín AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salvador Pelagius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Pelagius in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Dominix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hugo Rivero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ernesto Dominix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Mailín AFC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Mailín AFC's Salvador Pelagius looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Ernesto Dominix came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Mailín AFC's Salvador Pelagius. But to his dismay, Salvador Pelagius quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 95 minutes into the match, Salvador Pelagius notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Gauchos del Dot's Ernesto Dominix. Ernesto Dominix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
