If Aurelio Elia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Sportivo Devoto's goalkeeper Bonifacio Enekoitz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustin Arotza. Silvestre Firme struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Fermin Burutzagi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Devoto. 13 minutes into the match, Silvestre Firme notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Duff Team's Fermin Burutzagi. Fermin Burutzagi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 17th match minute, Duff Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Libertad to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Aurelio Elia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fermin Burutzagi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Fermin Burutzagi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Firme, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Fermin Burutzagi came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Devoto's Aurelio Elia. But to his dismay, Aurelio Elia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Fermin Burutzagi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Quintun in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Duff Team's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Firme came free, but Fermin Burutzagi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Silvestre Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Devoto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Firme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fermin Burutzagi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Elia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sportivo Devoto's Ulises Frascuelo got a free kick in the 46th minute. Bonifacio Enekoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Sabino in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After having played for 52 minutes, Silvestre Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Devoto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Firme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Duff Team's goal looked a bit too open when Silvestre Firme came free, but Fermin Burutzagi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aurelio Elia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Elia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fermin Burutzagi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Duff Team's goalkeeper Fermin Burutzagi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. During the 70th minute of the match Alberto Libertad completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alberto Libertad a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 71st minute, Alberto Libertad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvestre Firme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fermin Burutzagi having to make a save. Fermin Burutzagi came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Devoto's Aurelio Elia. But to his dismay, Aurelio Elia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Silvestre Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Devoto's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Firme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fermin Burutzagi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fermin Burutzagi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Elia in the 85th minute of the match. Aurelio Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Burutzagi having to interfere. Isaac Quintun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fermin Burutzagi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 minutes of play, Sportivo Devoto's Aurelio Elia made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fermin Burutzagi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sportivo Devoto's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
