With a little luck, Horqueta AFC's Pastor Ellande got control of the ball when Raul Gaskon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pastor Ellande came out and tried to block the shot, but Raul Gaskon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Horqueta AFC's zone, Raul Gaskon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pastor Ellande came out of the goal and Raul Gaskon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raul Gaskon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pastor Ellande having to interfere. Simon Ignatius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pastor Ellande came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Suripugio AFC's Raul Gaskon. But to his dismay, Raul Gaskon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Simon Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Simon Ignatius came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Suripugio AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Ignatius couldn't finish the play. Victor Vasco charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Vasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Suripugio AFC booed when Horqueta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Vasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Gaskon struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Pastor Ellande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Suripugio AFC. If Simon Ignatius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horqueta AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Suripugio AFC the free kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Suripugio AFC fully deserved thier win.
