The LOL FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Pagomari should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo Lluc got free with Carlos Pagomari in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute Maurício de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Pagomari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Pagomari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Lluc went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo's Jairo Lluc nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Pagomari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. 44 minutes into the match, LOL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maurício de Andrade came free, but Carlos Pagomari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, San Lorenzo's Maurício de Andrade ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Pagomari. Carlos Pagomari yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeo Giraldo to make the kick off. LOL FC's Carlos Pagomari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Lluc in the 53rd minute of play. Carlos Pagomari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Lluc in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute Jairo Lluc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Pagomari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Lorenzo's Jairo Lluc got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jairo Lluc in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Pagomari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the match, LOL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Lluc came free, but Carlos Pagomari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Everardo Esquipula managed to get in a good position for a shot. LOL FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Esquipula was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 沈树鸿 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Jairo Lluc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Pagomari. The tension between the LOL FC and the San Lorenzo players grew even worse after the yellow card. 74 minutes into the game, one of LOL FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for San Lorenzo. Antonio Txurio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos Pagomari. 7-1. In the 80th minute, Maurício de Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 8-1 when Jairo Lluc sped through LOL FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Pagomari. LOL FC's Carlos Pagomari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Lluc in the 87th minute of play. Jairo Lluc kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. There was no doubt that San Lorenzo were the better team. San Lorenzo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
