The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Simon Gudesteo came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Tigre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simon Gudesteo couldn't finish the play. Lorenzo Flores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Bero's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. If Inocencio Bero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Flores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Jakobe in the 17th minute of the match. If Simon Gudesteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tigre booed when Azcurra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Francho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute, Inocencio Bero made a precise shot to the right of Lorenzo Flores. Tigre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Azcurra's Teodosio Beturian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Guillerme in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Jakue during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Tigre booed when Azcurra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Jakue didn't get a good kick on the ball. Azcurra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigre the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Azcurra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Francho to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azcurra's goalkeeper Teodosio Beturian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Simon Gudesteo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Simon Gudesteo made a precise shot to the right of Teodosio Beturian. Azcurra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Lorenzo Flores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Bero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Guillerme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Beturian having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Guillen got free with Lorenzo Flores in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 3-1 became the score in the 77th minute when Simon Gudesteo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, Azcurra's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Gudesteo came free, but Teodosio Beturian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tigre's Lorenzo Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Bero in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Azcurra's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Gudesteo came free, but Teodosio Beturian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Ezequiel Guillen could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Lorenzo Flores however easily saved by the left post. Inocencio Bero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Flores read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Lorenzo Flores made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Ezequiel Guillen sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Azcurra defense, Simon Gudesteo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodosio Beturian. The Azcurra fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodosio Beturian should have stopped the shot.
