Zeledon Gudesteo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Bernardino Jaen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mamina FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Wasyl Kochanowski had in the 15thth minute some difficulties stopping Bernardino Jaen's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Primitivo Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Oliviero having to interfere. Primitivo Ranolfo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Jairo Oliviero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Mamina FC's Nicolas Tarres got a free kick in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the game, Gunners FC's Edelmiro Eliazar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wasyl Kochanowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Niceto Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucrețiu Ghercioiu got free with Jairo Oliviero in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the game, Primitivo Ranolfo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jairo Oliviero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lucrețiu Ghercioiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Gunners FC's Niceto Franco got a free kick in the 44th minute. Jairo Oliviero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Ranolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Jairo Oliviero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Ranolfo in the 53rd minute of play. After 60 played minutes, Gunners FC's David Gonzalez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wasyl Kochanowski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gunners FC reached it. If Modesto Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Primitivo Ranolfo came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Mamina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Primitivo Ranolfo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucrețiu Ghercioiu in the 68th minute of play forced Gunners FC's goalkeeper Jairo Oliviero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siro Isusko kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Primitivo Ranolfo put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jairo Oliviero. Primitivo Ranolfo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jairo Oliviero having to make a save. In the 79th match minute, Gunners FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Eliazar to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Primitivo Ranolfo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Oliviero saved Gunners FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Gunners FC's Edelmiro Eliazar got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Ranolfo in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jairo Oliviero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th match minute, Gunners FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Jaen to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Ranolfo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Oliviero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Modesto Cordaryal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jairo Oliviero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
