The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 8 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Abar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Matias Veto, 2-0. Matias Veto made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Prudencio Barea sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 15 minutes, Aquilino Ted managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de Belgrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Ted was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Belgrano's Hugo Ospetsu got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Fulgencio Abar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Behe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Raebert having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Barea in the 26th minute of play forced Defensores de Belgrano's goalkeeper Matias Veto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Defensores de Belgrano getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Casimiro Montrell hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Prudencio Barea made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eustaquio Behe during the 51st minute. It was a penalty for Defensores de Belgrano! Eustaquio Behe got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Eustaquio Lucian made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Defensores de Belgrano's Alberto Leoiar. Prudencio Barea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gabriel Behe fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Defensores de Belgrano's protests and gave Gabriel Behe a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Behe hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Augusto Hats came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Mandarines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Hats couldn't finish the play. When Prudencio Barea came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Mandarines fans jumped to their feet. In the 88th minute, Samuel Selmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Abar struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Matias Veto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mandarines. In the 94th minute, Aquilino Ted got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mandarines fully deserved thier win.
