After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Sebastian Viator managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Viator was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingos Fanuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Cipriano Ubendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Santo Nastasio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia FC the free kick. In the 25th minute, Santo Nastasio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute, Conrado Toscano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Toro FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 33rd minute Sebastian Viator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Fanuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustino Marko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Domingos Fanuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Marko's late challenge caught a Academia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Marko helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Toro FC got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Marko. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Toscano to make the kick off. Domingos Fanuco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Ubendu in the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Academia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Toscano came free, but Domingos Fanuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Viator who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Domingos Fanuco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Toro FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Evaristo Onbera in the 76th minute. After taking down the ball on Toro FC's corner Sebastian Viator fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Domingos Fanuco quite easily take care of the ball. Sebastian Viator could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Domingos Fanuco made a huge save. Academia FC's Domingos Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Toscano in the 78th minute of play. Domingos Fanuco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Toscano in the 80th minute of play. A hard shot 82 in the game by Sebastian Viator from a close distance when the talented Domingos Fanuco managed to make a qualified save. Academia FC's players were relieved. Toro FC were furious when Faustino Marko was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 89 played minutes Academia FC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Quico. In the 93rd minute Fidel Quico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Bitxintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Conrado Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Viator blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingos Fanuco having to make a save. The Academia FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Toro FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
