Estrella de plata F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Atauri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermegildo Hanni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Phelipe in the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Estrella de plata F.C.'s Patricio Ruisko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leandro Quintyn. Leandro Quintyn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 30th minute, Estrella de plata F.C.'s Ignacio Scocco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Ermegildo Hanni came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Scuadra Sabalera's Luis Gamus. But to his dismay, Luis Gamus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 39 minutes in the game, Ignacio Scocco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Leandro Quintyn having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Scuadra Sabalera got a freekick which was hit by Alexi Panicharov. Scuadra Sabalera's Leandro Quintyn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Scuadra Sabalera from getting a goal against them. Leandro Quintyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Scocco in the 42nd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 52nd minute Alexi Panicharov suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 52 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Isusko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrella de plata F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scuadra Sabalera the free kick. Scuadra Sabalera made a substitution. Esteve Chico replaced Alexi Panicharov. After 53 played minutes Estrella de plata F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Isusko. Angel Naike received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ermegildo Hanni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Estrella de plata F.C.'s Patricio Ruisko got a free kick in the 60th minute. Ignacio Scocco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 68th minute, Tomas Chale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Estrella de plata F.C.'s goalkeeper Ermegildo Hanni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Angel Naike. In the 71st match minute, Estrella de plata F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Chale to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Chale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Ruisko in the 84th minute of play forced Scuadra Sabalera's goalkeeper Leandro Quintyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Scocco scored 3-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leandro Quintyn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute, Ignacio Scocco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estrella de plata F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. The supporters of Scuadra Sabalera booed when Estrella de plata F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Scocco didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Estrella de plata F.C. getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ignacio Scocco hit a great ball. The Estrella de plata F.C. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
