The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carmelo Colon during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Santa Fe United getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Carmelo Colon hit a great ball. Robustiano Naldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Pello in the 21st minute of the match. Cornelio Pello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Naldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Naldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Robustiano Naldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Colon in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmelo Colon got free with Robustiano Naldo in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carmelo Colon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Robustiano Naldo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Robustiano Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Jax, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Santa Fe United fully deserved thier win.
