The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Lorenz's late challenge caught a LO DE TILO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inocencio Lorenz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Athletich Espinillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Lorenz to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Athletich Espinillos getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Luisito Aznaro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in LO DE TILO FC's zone, Rogelio Montrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Licerio came out of the goal and Rogelio Montrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Agustin Calixto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gilberto Neron hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When LO DE TILO FC's Patricio Estevon in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Athletich Espinillos's goalie prevented a goal. Dario Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Montrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Lorenz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Ibañez having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aurelio Lorenz to make the kick off. Marco Ibañez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Calixto in the 60th minute of play. Marco Ibañez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Lorenz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of LO DE TILO FC booed when Athletich Espinillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Hanot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Ibañez came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by LO DE TILO FC's Agustin Calixto. But to his dismay, Agustin Calixto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Abel Darien hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Rogelio Montrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agustin Calixto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Marco Ibañez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Athletich Espinillos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
