Palomitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Pibes the free kick. Vinicio Isaio kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After 26 minutes of play, Los Pibes's Horacio Rioja made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelino Garikoitz made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Guillermo Cresitobalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palomitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Cresitobalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximiliano Kaiet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palomitas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
