An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Zula Cwojdak got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 12 minutes into the match, Peña El Cañazo FC's goalkeeper Vicente Geofredo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Placido Ekain. In the 13th minute, Filiberto Millrick got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Placido Ekains short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Vicente Geofredo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Filiberto Millrick didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 22nd minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Filiberto Millrick ran dejectedly back to his position. After 23 minutes of play, Quilmes A.C.'s Zula Cwojdak made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Geofredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Peña El Cañazo FC's Vicente Geofredo got control of the ball when Zula Cwojdak tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peña El Cañazo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Baraquiel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Quilmes A.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Pedro Perfecto hit a great ball. If Siro Baraquiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severino Gergori to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Peña El Cañazo FC's zone, Filiberto Millrick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Geofredo came out of the goal and Filiberto Millrick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Ekain in the 54th minute of play forced Peña El Cañazo FC's goalkeeper Vicente Geofredo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quilmes A.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peña El Cañazo FC the free kick. Vicente Geofredo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zula Cwojdak went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Peña El Cañazo FC's Vicente Geofredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zula Cwojdak in the 85th minute of play. Zula Cwojdak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Filiberto Millrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Quilmes A.C. were the better team. Quilmes A.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
