The Mataderos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bonifacio Bartoleme should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julio Ubendu in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Huly prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mataderos's Oscar Baraquiel got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bonifacio Bartoleme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomero Perfecto in the 18th minute. Mataderos's Bonifacio Bartoleme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Mataderos from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute, Julio Ubendu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeo Huly was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Killbane getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Humberto Clemencin hit a great ball. Romeo Huly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Ubendu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Amador Florian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifacio Bartoleme having to interfere. Oscar Baraquiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Eugenio Quinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mataderos's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Quinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Huly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bonifacio Bartoleme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Perfecto, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Eugenio Sergi lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Mataderos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Killbane:s goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mataderos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Killbane.
