Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erasmo Millan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marcelino Tab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Millan in the 3rd minute of the match. Marcelino Tab didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Javier Matia went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 16th minute, Narciso Olentzaro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Lucien Otter, passed just outside the right post. Erasmo Millan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chivilcoy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! In the 28th minute Erasmo Millan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Tab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Firme came free, but Lucien Otter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Villa Mitre got a freekick which was hit by Iker Romo. After the first half Villa Mitre were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute Miguel Larpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Otter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Santio charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobo Santio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lucien Otter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Larpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 56 minutes, Miguel Larpe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chivilcoy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Larpe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Narciso Olentzaro fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chivilcoy's protests and gave Narciso Olentzaro a yellow card for diving instead. Narciso Olentzaro kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Marcelino Tab made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Erasmo Millan sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, Chivilcoy's goalkeeper Marcelino Tab had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Millan. When Ermegildo Mitxaut fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chivilcoy's protests and gave Ermegildo Mitxaut a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Ermegildo Mitxaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Javier Matia in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelino Tab saved Chivilcoy from getting behind. The supporters of Villa Mitre booed when Chivilcoy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Mitxaut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Tab was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Erasmo Millan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erasmo Millan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. 87 minutes into the game, Chivilcoy's Miguel Larpe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lucien Otter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. 92 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Larpe came free, but Lucien Otter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ermegildo Mitxaut was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 96 minutes had been played. In the 97th minute, Ermegildo Mitxaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villa Mitre's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
