Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pedro Dantel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Pedro Dantel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the match, Piñero's Fernan Mazuste sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silverio Eneko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Silverio Eneko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Mazuste, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. With his leg Feliciano Shepherd managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Brinkman's Victoriano Arotza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victoriano Arotza in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliciano Shepherd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute Igor Boniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Eneko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Dantel in the 35th minute of play forced Brinkman's goalkeeper Silverio Eneko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Arotza had several of the Piñero's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Feliciano Shepherd as he didn't even see the shot coming. Marciano Eztebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Shepherd having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victoriano Arotza to make the kick off. If Marciano Eztebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55thth minute of the game Victoriano Arotza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piñero's Feliciano Shepherd was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marciano Eztebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Feliciano Shepherd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danilo Asier was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brinkman! The goalkeeper, Silverio Eneko, was totally fooled by Piñero's Diego Lopes, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Dantel in the 69th minute of play forced Brinkman's goalkeeper Silverio Eneko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Eriberto Ofelio fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brinkman's protests and gave Eriberto Ofelio a yellow card for diving instead. Silverio Eneko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Mazuste in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Brinkman's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Dantel came free, but Silverio Eneko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliciano Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Arotza in the 86th minute of play. Benito Txindoki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Shepherd having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Nicasio Txerran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brinkman's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Txerran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feliciano Shepherd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Piñero succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Brinkman had controlled the match.
