Ciro Cutberto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Lugones AFC's Ruperto Bizi got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Albino Atarratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes, Lugones AFC's Sergio Torres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rolando Maxin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lugones AFC reached it. Rafik El Hadi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the match, FEPUT A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Bizi came free, but Rolando Maxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th play minute Lucio Shepherd came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ciro Cutberto. 2-0. In the 33rd minute Rafik El Hadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Maxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FEPUT A.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Freddy Cresconio hit a great ball. Ruperto Bizi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Rolando Maxin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 59th minute of the match Lugones AFC got a corner. FEPUT A.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gerardo Ixidor ran over to the corner to take the kick. 61 minutes into the match, FEPUT A.C.'s goalkeeper Rolando Maxin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruperto Bizi. Ruperto Bizi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Rolando Maxin made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Víktor de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of FEPUT A.C.:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lugones AFC:s goal. 69 minutes into the match, Gerardo Ixidor notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FEPUT A.C.'s Rolando Maxin. Rolando Maxin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute, Lucio Shepherd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruperto Bizi took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Maxin. Rolando Maxin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Bizi got free with Rolando Maxin in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The throw-in from Tomás Beremundo in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FEPUT A.C.'s Albino Atarratze. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Ruperto Bizi put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Rolando Maxin. Rolando Maxin made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Rafik El Hadi sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Lugones AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FEPUT A.C..
