After a rather tough play, Sampacho's Martin Goren got a free kick in the 4th minute. Martin Goren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rosendo Fernendo. Mazán's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Juan Oriche fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Cuarto having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Angelo Ederono cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Rosendo Fernendo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th match minute, Sampacho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Goren to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Playo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sampacho's Alvaro Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Oriche in the 25th minute of play. Tobias Playo took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alvaro Cuarto. Alvaro Cuarto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Tobias Playo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Oriche struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Alvaro Cuarto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mazán. In the 36th match minute, Mazán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Froila to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sampacho getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Feliberto Lizardi hit a great ball. Juan Oriche received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alvaro Cuarto came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan Oriche slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 41st minute. Alvaro Cuarto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Oriche in the 44th minute of the match. Sampacho's Alvaro Cuarto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Sampacho from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Acevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Oriche in the 53rd minute of play forced Sampacho's goalkeeper Alvaro Cuarto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Conrado Urbes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Urbes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Cuarto having to interfere. Alvaro Cuarto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Oriche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rdth minute of the game Juan Oriche who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sampacho's Alvaro Cuarto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Juan Oriche notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Sampacho's Alvaro Cuarto. Alvaro Cuarto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 69 minutes into the game, Mazán's Tobias Playo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvaro Cuarto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Sampacho's Alvaro Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Oriche in the 86th minute of play. Guaberto Eneto kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match.
