If Andrea Nicolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andrea Nicolo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nildo Almeida having to make a save. Athletic Club Bilbao were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
