With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislao Cucao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Pereyra in the 14th minute of play forced Metegol's goalkeeper Ladislao Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Urre got free with Alvaro Damario in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ismael Goizeder managed to get in a good position for a shot. NOB's supporters rose to their feet, but Ismael Goizeder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ladislao Cucao breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Metegol's zone, Aureliano Urko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ladislao Cucao came out of the goal and Aureliano Urko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aureliano Urko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Metegol's Ladislao Cucao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Casomiro in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aureliano Urko made a kick off. After a rather tough play, NOB's Ramón Galvão got a free kick in the 53rd minute. NOB's Adan Chap was substituted for Ismael Goizeder. Alfonso Chuan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Metegol defense, Aureliano Urko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ladislao Cucao. The Metegol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ladislao Cucao should have stopped the shot. Ladislao Cucao made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aureliano Urko in the 79th minute. Aureliano Urko struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ladislao Cucao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NOB. With a little luck, Metegol's Ladislao Cucao got control of the ball when Aureliano Urko tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, NOB's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Urre came free, but Alvaro Damario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
