After having played for 3 minutes, Abelardo Heli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpicó Guachó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Heli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baldomiro Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Nerio in the 5th minute of play. The supporters of Olavarría FC booed when Carpicó Guachó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavio Demesio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lucas Homo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adan Garcia during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Carpicó Guachó getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Adan Garcia hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the game, Olavarría FC's Santo Nerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomiro Osasun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 23rd minute Abel Eneto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Oliviero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Abel Eneto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carpicó Guachó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Eneto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Oliviero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Eneto in the 29th minute of play. Francisco Montrel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Oliviero having to interfere. In the 34th match minute, Carpicó Guachó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Demesio to maneuver through the defense. After 39 played minutes Carpicó Guachó got a freekick which was hit by Abel Eneto. Olavarría FC's Santo Nerio got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Carpicó Guachó's Baldomiro Osasun got control of the ball when Santo Nerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abel Eneto made a kick off. A collision led to Carpicó Guachó getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Francisco Montrel hit a great ball. The supporters of Carpicó Guachó booed when Olavarría FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Nerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute, Carolo Bertin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francisco Montrel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Carpicó Guachó's Abel Eneto got a free kick in the 65th minute. Baldomiro Osasun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Homo in the 67th minute of play. Carolo Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Osasun having to interfere. Carpicó Guachó made a substitution. Marcelo Nabar replaced Severo Sugar. Abel Eneto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Gaston Oliviero made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Heli in the 76th minute of play forced Olavarría FC's goalkeeper Gaston Oliviero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Olavarría FC's goalkeeper Gaston Oliviero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Eneto. After a rather tough play, Olavarría FC's Carolo Bertin got a free kick in the 80th minute. Carpicó Guachó's Severiano Elazar was substituted for Ezequiel Katia. After 81 played minutes Olavarría FC got a freekick which was hit by Carolo Bertin. If Carolo Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Santo Nerio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olavarría FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carpicó Guachó the free kick. A collision led to Olavarría FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Santo Nerio hit a great ball. Gaston Oliviero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Heli in the 95th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Gaston Oliviero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Carpicó Guachó players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olavarría FC.
