The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aristides Lonzo during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, one of arbolito fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for arbolito fc. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, Maczapo FC's Astor Dunixi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ricardo Gonza. After 10 minutes, Apolo Cristos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the arbolito fc and the Maczapo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maczapo FC's Silverio Timo got a free kick in the 11th minute. Silverio Timo stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of arbolito fc's defenders and the ball went out. Maczapo FC appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. Maczapo FC's Camilo Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siro Tono in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Siro Tono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Gonza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Timo in the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind arbolito fc's goalkeeper Ricardo Gonza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leandro Umbruso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Naldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Siro Tono's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. arbolito fc's Apolo Cristos got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

arbolito fc's Jorge Tab was substituted for Siro Tono. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apolo Cristos was the one to do the kick off. Apolo Cristos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Jorge Tab reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Camilo Naldo. The goal made the score 1-2. Camilo Naldo was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Apolo Cristos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Apolo Cristos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Maczapo FC's Camilo Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Cristos in the 67th minute of play. Jorge Tab sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute of the match, Jorge Tab got a very nice opportunity to score, but Camilo Naldo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Apolo Cristos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 minutes of play, arbolito fc's Jorge Tab made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Naldo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When arbolito fc's Apolo Cristos in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Camilo Naldo guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ricardo Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Bittor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Aureliano Santiago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Tab got free with Camilo Naldo in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 89 played minutes Maczapo FC got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Bittor. In the 90th minute Apolo Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Dunixi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardo Gonza. arbolito fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Maczapo FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching arbolito fc's performance. The match ended with a win for arbolito fc.
