Sarmiento FC's Ernesto Loi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Ospin in the 14th minute of play. After 16 played minutes, Corralito FC's Arsenio Dantae shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernesto Loi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Corralito FC reached it. When Fulgencio Umea came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Sarmiento FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Umea couldn't finish the play. Domingo Iturri made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sarmiento FC's Edelmiro Kiliz. Nicasio Sancho didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 4-0. Mauro Saturnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicasio Sancho having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Fulgencio Umea took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Nicasio Sancho to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Rigoberto Ospin kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Corralito FC's Nicasio Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Lazcano in the 53rd minute of play. Nicasio Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Umea in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Ramiro Sayvion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corralito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento FC the free kick. A collision led to Corralito FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Americo Bernad hit a great ball. Nicasio Sancho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulgencio Umea's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Fulgencio Umea scored 7-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicasio Sancho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nicasio Sancho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Saturnin in the 70th minute of the match. Sarmiento FC's Mauro Saturnin got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Benjamin Taurino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sarmiento FC fully deserved thier win.
