Ricardo Gonza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Gonza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Umea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernesto Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Tono in the 27th minute of play. When Mauro Saturnin fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarmiento FC's protests and gave Mauro Saturnin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sarmiento FC's Mauro Saturnin got a free kick in the 28th minute. Ernesto Loi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Lonzo in the 31st minute of play. Fernan Berenguer hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ricardo Gonza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Umea in the 38th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Umea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarmiento FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave arbolito fc the free kick. In the 40th minute, Fulgencio Umea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the game, Sarmiento FC's Fulgencio Umea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Gonza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

arbolito fc's Jorge Tab was substituted for Siro Tono. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apolo Cristos to make the kick off. Apolo Cristos hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes Sarmiento FC got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Saturnin. If Fulgencio Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute Fulgencio Umea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Gonza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Mauro Saturnin made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Gonza. arbolito fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jorge Tab kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Fulgencio Umea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 89 minutes, Fulgencio Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Umea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Sarmiento FC booed when arbolito fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Lonzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Sarmiento FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Mauro Saturnin hit a great ball. Sarmiento FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
