The Chimenea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Ruy should have stopped the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Marcelo Gaitano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Chimenea's Mariano Ruy. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Campodónico FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chimenea the free kick. Marcelo Gaitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
